The preparation for the exam is demanding, but the result will definitely be worth the effort. The choice of a competent instructor, with the necessary certifications, is also very important in order for the student to fully grasp the methodology components, pass the exam, and to implement the knowledge acquired in real projects.

Take the exam relatively soon after completing your studying/preparation. Fresh memory helps given there is terminology and contents that one needs to remember. Other than that, it should be very feasible to pass the exam if you study all components of the methodology well (e.g. roles, definitions, templates/documents contents, phases etc.)

Important Notes

In addition to the time allowed for the examination, a candidate must also allocate approximately 5 to 20 minutes for completing the start-up procedures.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE THE EXAM:

-When starting an Exam, candidates are required to take and upload a clear picture of their face and a proof of identity (Accepted documents: National ID card, Passport, Driving license, Employer identification card in English, Academic ID). Therefore, candidates must be in a well-lit place, have a camera, allow their browser to access their camera, and make sure they have the proof of identity available next to them. The camera must remain in use during the whole examination, as videos of the exams are reviewed before any certification is issued.

-It is advised to use Google Chrome browser only.

-The exam should not be taken in the incognito/private mode.

-Candidates must make sure they start the Exam on time, as this is an automated system and Exams are submitted by default at the end of each time slot.

The PM².EU is using ECVC’s Proctoring System, aiming to secure the safety, integrity, and value of the online proctoring PM² Certification Exams.

The online examination environment must conform to the following:

-A quiet, non-public, fully lighted room

-No other people in the room

-Not talking out loud or communicating with others by any means

-Not leaving the room

-Nothing except computer and external cameras on the desktop or tabletop – removal of all books, papers, notebooks, or other materials, unless specifically permitted in the written guidelines of the particular exam

-Candidates are not allowed to leave or minimise the exam page

-No music is allowed to be played on computer or any other system in the room

-No other computers running in the exam room

-No headphones or ear buds allowed

-Nothing should be covering the lens of the camera at any time during the exam

-Lighting must be “daylight” quality – overhead lighting is preferred

-If overhead lighting is not possible, the lighting source should not be behind the student

Any violation of the instructions given for taking online proctored exam will result in the dismissal of the exam.
